Welcome to What's In Your FAB 5: Strategies and Activities to Increase Student Engagement
This Course is a hands-on course for teachers of students in grades 4 -12. It is designed for educators to discover and experience a multitude of research-based strategies and activities to create an active, enriched learning environment. Participants will discuss and apply current research based theories, principles, and practices to support and develop engaged students. Collaborative groups will betasked with sharing knowledge and experiences, refining understanding of content and alternate assessment, giving and receiving feedback, and aligning all activities to content standards. Time will be provided to assess personal and professional strengths as a motivator for the purpose of increasing expertise and reflection and adjust accordingly.
